54mm throttle body
Re: 54mm throttle body
Do a lot more research before deciding on a cam package. The HOT kit is OK but it's popularity is due to a vicious cycle of ignorance rather than being that good a package. People buy it because they have heard of it and magazines say it is great and then so many people have it from that that they recommend it to others and it has snowballed. It isn't bad it just isn't all that good either.
Bet there are still worthwhile intake and exhaust tweaks you can make even though your car got better pieces from the factory.

Depending on your goals, If you are looking for around 350whp with good drivability, and the ability to pass emissions. Then I would say that the hotcam kit would be a great buy. I think it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 450-500 dollars. I ran a hot cam in my car for about 3 years. You will eventually want more I now have an LE2 set up. But for bang for the buck if you don't have rockers, springs, ect it's a good deal.

I don't need to pass emissions, and I'd actually like it to chop at the redlight.
I just don't see my air intake getting any better than the ram air. I've put some thought into the slp loud mouth system though.
