when my car was a full bolt on a4, i only gained 1 mph thru the traps by changing from stock to a 42mm bbk. & not much, if any e.t. reduction. decide for yourself, 1st price, 2nd future mods. wasn't worth it to me. decide for yourself, how far you wanna go. probly depends on goals & income combined.

Are you going to stop modding now? If so, stay with what you have. If you plan on eventually doing the cam or any headwork, you'll need the 52.

It cost me $150 to have mine ported to a 52mm. I say if its a good price, go for it. I'm taking it for granted this won't be your last mod though.
