52mm throttle body

52mm throttle body

I have a 97 TA WS6 with long tube headers Magnaflow cat back and pulleys am I wasting my money & time installing a 52mm throttle body please let me know what you think thanks Ron

Put your money elsewhere (gears, sticky tires, 1.6 RR's).

A larger TB will make your car "snappier" when you hit the throttle. For example, at 20% throttle with a 52mm TB, you are letting more air in than with 20% throttle with a stock 48mm unit. It may not make your car much faster now, but it will feel faster and make it a little more fun to drive.
