if a cold air intake gives hp because of more air why not bigger tb openings why do guys descreen maf more air flow more hp.

 

descreened maf can actually hurt horsepower some say as the screen straightens the airflow and gives a more precise reading.

IMO if you're gonna buy a throttle body, buy a 58mm. will give you more room for growth for the same money, and possibly a little more horsepower as well.
