You can run up to a 54 on an unmodded intake.

Send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you some photos of how to neatly machine-out (not grind) at home the intake venturas to 58mm.

Re: 52mm to 58mm throttle body

I just bought a 1995 M6 Z, it has a 58mm TB. If you do not open the venturis, will the blades even open correctly? Just curious if it is a fitment issue or an issue with proper function otherwise....

Re: 52mm to 58mm throttle body

The blade will open correctly but this probably wouldn't flow any better than the stock setup as the smaller intake bores will provide a signifigant restriction to CLEAN flow. Even a 52 is a waste on a stock engine though so you might consider going back to stock.
