.521 lift ok for LT4 springs?
.521 lift ok for LT4 springs?
Im adding 1.7 roller rockers to my car (no cam). The max lift will be .521 on the exhaust side and less on the intake. The LT4 springs are good up to .525 lift. Is this pushing its limits? Should i get a .550 max spring set?

i would not say you are pushing it with these springs,the hot cam is 525 with 1.6 and that is the suggested spring for that cam, added insurance could be a benefit from a little bit more spring..

interested, the hotcam with 1.6s is exactly .525 on both i/e... didnt know that.
Well LT4s will definetly save me some money. And after buying 1.7s, studs, pushrods, guideplates, seals... im ready to save a few more bucks...

1st time ive ever seen this much snow in my entire life! It was amazing... It was the first snow since like the 80s or something. So everyone was quite excited over the 1inch or so of snow hehe. Unforntantly it'll probably be another 10 years before we see something like that again lol

I would not even use the LT4 springs with the HOT cam. The LT4 springs that came on my LT4 Heads (the whole LT4 conversion) were very close to coil bind from the beginning. We did not feel comfortable with them so I opted to run different springs that offered more 'room' for 'error'.
On a stock cam with 1.6s I would use the LT4 springs but the .521 you speak of is too close for me.
