Anybody know if there are any other makers of the 52 mm TB besides BBK?

Edelbrock was making them, as well as a host of people overboring stock cores such as Arizona Speed & Marine and TPIS.

Go with Nomad or AS&M. I understand Holleys can have minor problems. JMHO

Trey,
$$ better spent elsewhere. Where? I'm open to suggestions. Headers & Nos are not options though.

what are they $300?

gears (+ install), springs, shocks, midget ****- almost anythign for $300. clean your airfilter and call it good. Unless its shannons and for better throttle respose or a built to ***** motor- its pretty worthless.

muffler? high flow cat? SFC, LCA, cam? rockers? K members, drag radials?

Maybe gears, but the gears + install will run alot more than $300. You can keep the midget **** & your suggestions.

it appears to me that you know not what you speak of?

Perhaps you were trying to sarcastically and humeriously point out that the modifications I suggested were out of your price range?

what are they $300?

gears (+ install) $300 + install

Springs- Less than $300

shocks- varry fom $100- thousands

midget ****- it was a joke, as in anything would be better as per the next line " almost anythign for $300"

clean your airfilter and call it good.- ie, it will gain the same results

Unless its shannons and for better throttle respose or a built to ***** motor- its pretty worthless. self explanitory

muffler?- $100

high flow cat? $250

SFC, $150

LCA, $200

cam? $275

rockers? $275

K members, No clue, probobly around $300

drag radials? about $300

So why the sarcasm? none of the mods i suggested were really above $300... all would provide better results.

I had my stock TB bored to 52mm at my local machine shop, bought 52mm blades from AS&M.

Machine shop-$100
Blades from AS&M-$25

I have had no problems at all.
