I drove mine on the stock tune for a day while I was waiting on my pcm to get back due to a gear change, it ran "ok" enough to get to work and back, but I didn't get on it or anything.

Re: 503 cam on stock tune??

Drove my car with the CC503 in my 383 on a stock tune for weeks without any problems while I got a tuned PCM, injectors, etc. lined up to go in the car. It ran fine, but obviously it runs a lot nicer with the tuned PCM.

You won't have any problems with the stock tune, as long as you're running stock injectors.
