UMI rear susp.
Car has been a 12.7@ 110 with a 1.80 60'

Well we just bought it, Its a great bracket car and a WINNER. won several races but I think it has quite a bit left in it. Found the knock sensor unplugged and I need to log some data on it. But I think I can get a little more out of it.

When I had first messed with my car I went 12.01 with a hotcam, but it was a m6 w/4.10.

We are going to do the heads on this car also, but doing everything one at a time.....kind of a testing process

If you went 12.dohs with a hotcam you should be able to get a CC503 in to the 11s. is it a drag only car? street/strip? based off what you've done with your camaro I'm sure you'll have no problem hitting 12.4s with stock internals still. why not get a bigger stall and 4.10s? that should damn near get you there.

make sure you document what steps you take and post them up! its always nice when someone who knows what they're doing posts results rather than people who think they know what they're doing throws a combo together and it runs like crap (like me)

Its my brothers car, so he just got it. We are going to a 9" rear locker with a 4.10 a new trans and converter but have to do one thing at a time. Money!

But its a street car, he drives it to work a few times a week....his work is about 40 miles one way.....so I wants to see if we can get 11's and have good street manners when we are done.

Stick a 503 in it and some 4.11's and the car will touch high 11's.

I was damn close but 3.73 still wasn't enough gear.. the 503 likes to run out of breath on the big end... you can hear it in my old videos.

I went 12.35 @ 113 on a 1.89 60ft with a M6 and stock 3.42s. Should be heading to the track next weekend to see if I can get the 60ft down some.

Just wondering...but have you thought of the GM846 maybe??? seems to be very simular to the CC503..I also plan on building somthing like you're car...but with a set of LE1's with bigger valves and either the GM846 or the CC503..........I'd sure love to see high 11's low 12's with either cam.....
