Question 500-700 bucks for brakes?

Whats the best product. Does anyone have info on the LS-1 upgrade? No cross drilled either.

just realize that unless you do an ls1 upgrade you'll have to have at least 17" wheels for caliper clearance with any of the 13" aftermarket brake upgrades like Brembo or Baer. the ls1 will fit under stock 16" wheels but you'll have to get an ls1 spare tire in order for theat to fit.

I have about $400 in my C5 brake upgrade.

I bought the bracket from Bob Bishop that doesn't require the LS1 upgrade, then bought a complete used C5 setup from a guy on the Corvette Forum.

I paid about $185 for my LS1 brake upgrade kit (steering knuckles, hubs, calipers, almost new pads, rotors). Of course I spent another $80 on shipping! I bought my kit off of e-bay--just search for ls1 brakes every now and then.
