410rwhp from LE heads and 847... (graph inside)

well, got the car tuned up good today down at Carolina Auto Masters. If youre on the East Coast, they are the absolute place to go. The car dynoed good, but what sucks is that there is some valve float or valve spring failure going on at ~6100RPM. it should have kept pulling hard up top all the way to rev limit at 6500RPM so i definitely got shorted some power, but it's all good. im goin to contact Lloyd tomorrow to see what springs are on these heads. if its not the springs i'm gonna have to go in and see just what the hell is goin on. i also blew a damn header gasket 2 days before tuning. but anyways back to what yall wanna see

mods are LE heads, 1.6RRs, LTs (cutouts not installed yet), 847 Cam, CSI, BBK TB, K&N FIPK, SLP 2OTL Exhaust

once i get this valvetrain issue worked out i'll have it redynoed. this time with two 3" cutouts gettin rid of that gas and no more massive exhaust leak from cylinder #1. all numbers are SAE corrected. enjoy

Nice numbers......looks to me like you may have a few hp left on the table though, as your A/F looked like it was hovering right around 14 throughout the powerband.

Nice numbers, congrats.
I see your higher hp#'s were on a leaner pull. I've heard it before, "lean is mean". LOL
Hows the drivablilty on that 847? any cam surge?

Very nice numbers! If you find that you do have valve spring issues you may
want to consider the Comp beehive springs. The 26918s would probably solve
your problems. It's most likely that your heads are already machined for larger
springs though.

Re: 410rwhp from LE heads and 847... (graph inside)

i took it to the track untuned and trapped 111mph with an inconsistent, extremely rough 381rwhp. it should run A LOT better now. the car feels totally different.

30 lb injectors and Comp R Lifters

jeff tuned it to have extremely good street manners. it really runs excellent now. pretty much no cam surge.

and its through a 10 bolt with 4.11 stranges in there

Nice Reuter! I think you've just made up my mind as to who I'm going with when I start to really do some work to my Formula. Thanks. Still going to the track this saturday?
