Ok, I know a guy who has a 3rd gen firebird with a 12 bolt, drag springs/shocks, slicks, skinnies, roll cage, minus motor and tranny for sale hella cheap. He wants to sell the entire car, not part it out. I was wondering if the 12 bolt will match up fine with my Formula. I do know the rear will be a little shorter, but I adapters/spacers to fix that problem. I am pretty sure it has very steep gears, which I will have to change out. I'll be getting more specs on the rear hopefully tomorrow. Will the rear shocks/springs work on my car? It has drum brakes, but on their site, http://www.strangeengineering.net, it shows they have an option for caliper mounts for 93-97 OEM GM disc brakes for $100, but I can't seem to find where I just buy that part. Or can I just have my bracket from my 10 bolt welded on? Thanks in advance.
