3rd gen driveshaft fits a 4th gen??
Like the subject says can I go buy a driveshaft from the scrap yard off of a 3rd gen, put some new U Joints in it and slap it my 4th gen.

I am assuming that it has to be from a V8 car or does it matter??

As far as I know, yes.

I bought an old early 90's 1LE aluminum shaft and it fit mine, so it must.

All driveshafts from 1982-present are interchangeable.
