396 stroker??
what are the chances that i smack the piston off of the valves.
goe with the 3.850 stroker then 6" rods and then typical forged pistons. i will be runnin the cc305 cam and the 1.6 rr's. i was just wondering this befor i go into gettin it.
also i would like to keep teh CR down to about 10.5/1 like stock
thanks guys for the info

I think you should be fine, i would consult Nick Norris atr Nu-tek Motorsports. Im doing my 383 as 3.75 crank 6.00 rods and its great for N/A trim

there is no reason to hit the valves, just get the correct pistons, thats all...
you *might* want to concider a smaller rod with a long stroke like that, that wristpin is REALLY high up there
