383 What do you recomend for internals

Aight this winter im yanking the motor myself taking it to the guy who does all the motors for my race cars and getting a 383 done (my motor is TIRED) has 113k on the clock and shes deffninitly tired. What am i looking at for parts and whats recomended..
I might do a small amount of spray.. like 100 shot.. somewhere around there. Probly want Forged pistons and some nice steal rods. And i want a decent crank but this is a street motor not a race motor. It will see some street abuse but not tons. Ill probly clean my heads up myself or have the guy do them Nothig huge with the heads. And i need to stay emissions legal so im tinking cc305/306 cam. with 1.6 rrs and ill need springs and mabey valves but well see.. depending on how bad they are i might just need a valve job. and the obvious stuff, Bearings and all that kinda stuff and machining.. anyone got and idea of what this will set me back.. i was really hoping to stay at the 3k range

I went with the Scat 9000 crank, Triton forged rods, and SRP forged pistons. For my complete short block including having it assembled cost me 3 grand.

you can do way more than a 100 shot with that setup

Thats exactly my setup.

XE 230/236 112 with 1.6 rockers and Comp R lifters

Scat 9000 crank, Eagle H-rods, SRP pistons, total seal piston rings, King bearings, etc.

heads were another $1600. but then you still have to figure in gaskets, fuel injectors .... then add another $1000 to your budget

the whole project cost me about $6000. That includes clutch, headers, and all the little odds and ends.

I have about $2300 in my shortblock and that includes Eagle hbeams, Eagle forged crank, SRP pistons, and 4bolt main caps. That also includes machine work and balancing of rotating assembly. I could of saved $300 if I went with the cast crank but I figured for $300 more it was worth it. I allready had an Extreme Duty timing chain set which I would reccommend. The cam was another $250 but I recouped some of that cost by selling my old hotcam for $150. Fliuds and gaskets will get another $200 or so of your $.
