383 tuning questions

383 tuning questions

Well I finally finished my 383! I am running a GTP6 cam with GTP
stage II heads. Any way I changed my injector constant to 32# for the 30# Svo injectors. Started it up and my IAC counts were up around 160.(I adjusted that out for the time being) The problem I am having is at idle my BLM are going from 128 at startup (cold) to 160 or so. Also my O2's are reading from 120-300 on both sides.

Previously someone set my injector constant at 36# and my BLM went to 160. Does the computer take a while to change the BLM
. I was hoping that changing the injector to 32# would have solved some of the BLM problem I was having.

Does this sound like a vac. leak? I have gone back over exhaust bolts as well as the intake manifold bolts. I have also sprayed around the intake with Carb cleaner searching for leaks. Especially aroung the EGR blockoff plate I made.

Any ideas would be great.

Might want to post this in the "Computer Diagnostics/Programming" section, tuning gurus usualy hang out in that section.

I would suggest checking for ANY exhaust leaks, around the manifolds, collectors,etc..A while back my drivers' side was way off of my pass. side, so I checked, and my y-pipe was leaking..

I dont know about the injectors problem...I'd ask in the "computer" forum, they will surely help u..

Badass cam btw, let me know how that works out,(dyno#'s, ET's.)
