383 Stroker times?
383 Stroker times?
Here are the mods in my 94' camaro z-28. Any estimated 1/4 mile times/speeds at sea level?........HP??
383 stroker built using a scat cast steel crank, H-Beam rods with a fully balanced rotating assembly and keith black pistons
Pace performance full exhaust system (3 inch with shorty headers)
Cam with a 280 intake duration at .443 lift
sub frame connectors
new clutch(6 speed)
new p245 sport tires
(assume good driving, 80 degree weather(ORLANDO), and generally good track conditions and stock weight with 140 pound driver)

It's hard to say without knowing more about the heads and such. Just a ballpark guess...13.0s. With a good driver...high, maybe mid 12s. It depends on traction and your heads for the most part though.
I have stock heads that have been "smoothed" by the shop as the stroker was rebuilt. They also plained the deck/heads but i dont know how much was taken away. I am running a sporty street tire that is a p245 and has a semi-soft compound.
the factory cam is about .450, .460 lift. Stick with what everyone else is running for a cam. a lt4 hot cam would be beter than that. the stock heads and cam are going to hurt ya. the stroker isnt going to do anything for hp, but will increase low end torque, and lower your shift points. id say high 12s with proper tuning, but it will 60 ft like a mother. hope this helps, prorac1.
