383 stroker?

I decided to go with a 383. I was wondering what the main differences are between stroker and non stroker. Any advantages to going with a stroker?

so with the stroker motor, you get more low end torque? does it affect top end horsepower any at all? what about in the future when i add some boost?

Here's a current thread on a "budget", or at least relatively low cost 383 stroker LT1. How's 433 rwhp and 420 rwtq on a daily driver sound?

It gives you more torque and the longer stroke allows you to swallow a bigger cam and be more streetable.

I hope so!! That's what I'm getting. YMMV depending on the person and their opinions.
