It says starting at $1795.... by the time it's said and done, it's going to cost a hell of a lot more. There just isn't such a notion of a "cheap" stroker in my opinion.
Also, they don't have LT1 on there. It's different from a traditional SBC.

Hmpm........well i might give them a call and see whats up with that. I also found this on ebay. How do you think the quality on this is?
Does anyone know a ballpark estimate on how much it might cost me to get my lt1 block to get ready for a 383?
I am putting a 383 in my car. And after its all said and done (heads ported, clutch, injectors, hoses, sensors, ignition, etc) I am looking somewhere close to $5000, and I work at a machine shop so I don't have to pay for any of that.
I never get away with doing things the cheap route. It always ends up biting me in the a$$

If you know of a decent shop in your area, I'd swing by and have a conversation with them rather than trying to get parts here and there and seeing if the shop will do the machine work/short block assembly after the fact. Often times they can get the quality parts you want cheaper than you can. They'll also help you with picking what's right for your application and not throw $$ around pointlessly.
Another benefit to going through a local shop for the whole thing this way is the warranty on parts & labor will be there. I seriously doubt they'd warranty parts you brought in (understandably so).
Just something to think about...
