Golen Engine Services specializes in building LT engines (383s and 396s). I don't think you’ll find another engine shop around the country that has more LT experience then Golen. Additionally, Chad Golen is very professional to deal with.

My new 396 engine has a Golen built competition short block (all forged and balanced rotating assembly) and I’m very happy with it. It went 11.56 @117.41 the first time down the track.

Nick, Thanks for recommendation.

By the way, have you installed the 12 bolt yet?

Re: 383 Motor ?'s

I finally drove my VRE 383 today. They did a fine job on this shortblock. I would recommend them to anyone
