Yeah I got it back on the road. I do have a small oil leak due to that Moroso pan not sealing as good as the stocker, but it's running pretty good(really strong). I had to go with long tube headers(I got coated Kooks) due to the pan. The cat on the driver's side would not bolt up due to the pan kickout.

It's going to take an act of God to keep me from going to Piedmont tomorrow. I'd love to know what it runs with the long tubes and they are having test n tune tomorrow starting at 1pm.

What did the shop say about the heads? Were they warped? If so, how much?

If overheated the heads should be checked for hardness. Overheating can soften the aluminum and make them hard to keep gaskets under.

Yeah warped about 10-11 thousands if my aging memory serves me correctly. He resurfaced them and did valve guides and seats and all like new now. I guess. Oddly enough it has 1.99" valves now, of necessity rather than for performance...
