383 LT1 solid roller vid
The revs being fast are typical of high performance carb engines. The response of a matched and tuned carb is amazing. The solid roller lifters only help at the upper rpm range.
I still can't beleive you made that kind of power with 180cc heads. BTw, what is your raceweight and which converter are you running now?
My 383 is finally done but I am wating to get it on the engine dyno which might possibly be this week. Thanks again for your help in answering my questions on the distributor etc. Hopefully, my EB porting AFR 220's will pull that kind of mph (128+).

yeah it only 180cc runner
wt. is about 3400 or more
converter is an ati treemaster 8" was made for the car..... flashes at 5200, very tight up top
you afrs are going to be way faster than my crap.....as long as everything is tuned like it should, I know what that afr head can do, I have seen eric do a previous motor LT1 with afr and a mild cam it went 137, not to get your hopes up but I have seen what they can do
