Well the Lt1 blow up on me, and im in the process of getting a another lt1 to go in my car. With the old block i was going to rebuild it, i know i want to get a 383 stroker kit and and i want to spray it. im stuck on the heads/cam/intake, etc part, i want to be around the 400+ hp to the wheels before juice. all in all i want t be 500 hp+ to wheels after spray, im thinking maybe 100 to 150 shot. so if you can help me out with infor. i would appreciate it. my car is a m6 and has the stock 10 bolt in it. this is going to be a long process of building the engine so i can have time to save for parts and blah blah blah, but trying to stay in the 5k range. is that reasonable or am i dreaming. ideas ????

 

Dreaming. Even if you manage to get the engine built for 5k, you will more than likely blow up the rear end. Don't focus everything on power because it does you no good if you can't put that power to the ground, some suspension work to help you launch the car will be money well spent.

I will be building the block myself, and I know there is more to a car besides motor, I kinda know what I want to do the rearend, and tranny, suspension and blah blah blah, km just stuck on that, I found a strokes kit for 1100 hundred balanced and I know I will spray it, just need a lil help with a good heads and cam package.

If your budget oriented, lloyd elliot. If you have a little more to spend, Advanced Induction. Both company's will spec a cam that will suit your needs...... advanced induction is ridiculous tho, and the porting is second to none for stock castings.
