How can pcmforless be responsible for "a bouncing 100PSI" fuel pressure? The fuel pressure is not controlled by the PCM or in any way affected by his tune. Your fuel pressure regulator is screwed up, or the return line has a restriction in it. Don't blame that on the tuner.

WOW!!! Injuneer you really come off strong sometimes LOL!!. IM SOORRYYYY!!! There is some of us LT1 owners that are still learning about this motor that may not have as much knowledge as you and others may. I had no intentions on bad mouthing anyone from PCMFORLESS, Bryan from PCM has done some outstanding tunes for me in the past. I was not aware of the fact that the PCM doesn't control the FPR. I just thought the PCM controls some type of fuel or something. But it is not the FPR. So Im sorry. I guess I have a lot more learning to do about LT1's. And next time I will not say anything negitive about anyone. Now that I think about it, looks like I did.

Well everyone I wanna thank you all for helping me in this project. At this time im going to be hanging up my LT1 stroker project for about a month and half to two months. I have two big California Tests that I have to take for school. Currently im in a teaching credentialing program trying to become a teacher so that I can have more Hot ROds in the Garage. So at least now I know when I start working on it again, I can start be replacing the FPR. Again thank you all.
Chris

P.S. TODD, thanks for your imput sir. ILL KIT

I'm really at the point where I don't even want to try to help people any more.... I made a simple statement of fact, and you find fault with it. Maybe its time to give all this **** up.... people are just way too sensitive.

sorry I pissed in your Cheerios.... I was just trying to help you.

Well first off. Injuneer I just want to point out that I made a mistake as to blaming my issues on my tuner. The only thing that alarmed me was the way you made it known to me. (YOU DID NOTHING WRONG IN MAKING ME AWARE OF THE SITUATION.) What you said is what you said and as you said. "JUST SIMPLY STATING FACT." Its just how "I TOOK IT." No one else. By me simply saying "You come off strong." I didn't take it as a sensistive measure. In fact I laughed about it. Your personality is your personality. And please DONT not help people anymore I think your getting really sensitive in that area and taking that to a level that need not go. You have been a long long member of this board way longer than my knowledge of LT1's go. There are sensitive people LIKE MYSELF as you say, that still need help and expertise from people like yourself. I Value your imput a great deal man I do not want to loose that relationship with you or jeapordize any other relationships with any other members of this message board.

You have a hi-vol oil pump but what pan are you running, a stock one if so at high rpm that pump could be sucking the oil pan dry and the oil isn't draing back fast enough.

TO MRZ28: I have a Hi Volume Oil Pump with a stock Oil pan banged out with hammer. You said the oil is not draining back fast enough as in during high RPM my motor is running out of oil? I thought I had too much oil. That was reason for my Frothing up. Oh well thanks for the imput. My GM tech guy today told me that maybe I have the vacuum hose on the Fuel Pressure Regulator leading into the intake in the wrong port. He said that would cause it to jump around like that in PSI.

Nothing should cause the fuel pressure to jump to 100psi. The only thing that could do that was if you connected the vacuum line to a pressure source rather than a vacuum source. Or if you had a crimp in the return line, restricting flow.

Is your vacuum line connected as shown on Shoebox's site:

Yes I checked that out last night. And its hooked up correctly. What about the third plug that goes from the fuel lines into the purge canistor. Right now that plug is broken off and I have it caped off.
