It's all in the heads, if they are **** you won't any faster than cam only LT1's. Doing a 383 with so so heads is pointless.

i dont think thats ture at all, even with **** heads it will put out a ton more torque, + i dont want to do the bottom end more than once thats why its a forged 383 with H-beams and im not saying the heads are **** the shop does good work im just saying they mite not flow as well as lloyeds heads flow. im just looking for some # that people put down with set ups close to this.

Its kind of hard for anyone to give you ideas on what your setup can do without a little more info on your head work. Do you have any flow numbers on them?

Don't think you'll really know until you get some dyno numbers and some track times with trap speeds. LT1's will flow good assuming there done correctly. If your not in the 11's, you should be close to it.

hrm, thats odd, theres a formula to calculate how big of injectors you need (roughly), for mine I'm going with 42# just to be safe
I hope you get everything worked out and running how you hope.

The 30# SVO's will work at 480 flywheel HP, but the duty cycle is most likely going to be over 90%, unless you have a very efficient tune.
