Agreed! But what he missed saying was he may need a SMALLER base circle cam for clearence. He left the word "smaller" out.

You are buying everything based on low price ignoring well documented quality issues with multiple critical elements of the build.

If trying to save money do so with things like reusing the stock crank. A properly done 355 will make more torque than you can use on the street anyway and it frees up funds for better quality in other areas.

I would do something like a Mahle piston, Scat Pro Comp rod as a quality but budget friendly option. I would not swap cranks unless going to a Scat or better quality FORGED unit. Have to figure on a few hundred above the cost of this stuff for balancing.

On summit anyway the Scat kits list no rings so add on for that too. This is going to cost more than you think.

I would skip the electric WP too unless you have to have that last .1 at the dragstrip.

I will say Yank are very nice converters, at the same time though I am really happy with Edge racing converters and since they are not a billet cover you can save a few hundred dollars there too.

If you want to look at a complete quality forged rotating assembly the Compstar stuff is real attractive, but they stopped making 1-piece rearmain cranks so you would need to use an adapter or find some old stock.
