355 OBD1 T/A Doesnt like closed loop??

OK here are the basics of the motor.

030 over96LT1 block
forged 10.4:1 pistons with a .039 head gasket
Moly rings, Fully balanced
Reconditioned rods with ARP bolts
polished crank, all new bearings(duh)
CC306 cam, AFR Hydra-Rev kit
Comp R lifters, ARP head bolts ,ARP rocker Arm studs
Crane gold 1.6rr's
Ported stock heads with stock valves, Ported intake, about a stage 2 port job
BBK58mmTB, Ford SVO30lb injectors, Aeromotive AFPR
RK Sport 1-3/4 headers,!cats, OBD1 conversion,
Hooker aerochamber 3inch exhaust with cutout
I have the Ram air hood for the T/A so no CAI
Descreened MAF ,Custom tuning by cz28.com's very own MADWOLF
Hmm im sure im forgetting things

Ok, when i first start it up, it runs extremely smooth 1000rpm idle. Great throttle response and no hesitation. As soon as it heats up it will start stumbling and searching for an idle, up and down. Throttle response is noticeably crappier and when I hold the throttle at a steady RPM it slowly goes don a bit. Sounds like its going to die because its idling so low. Although power is still strong when driving it on the mid to top end.

So I think its possibly the o2 sensors that are not responding nearly quick enough therfore being shot. Maybe there is more to it. what do you think any suggestions??

did you do a reprogram on your pcm for your cam? sounds like that might be the issue .... would be nice if it was that simple

I'd agree with that. Are the O2's old? Can you hook up to a scanner just to be sure? The one I use shows real time data. May I suggest you don't use aftermarket O2's, my 1999 pickup will not run on Bosch sensors. Had to use oem. The snap-on man says that's a common problem with aftermarket.

i think MADWOLF needs to reevaluate your tune. AND you could hook up a scanner and see what is happening in closed loop. the beauty of a PCM is that you can gain many valuable clues by simply checking out what its doing in its attempt to adjust engine parameters.

Rob,
I looked through the list of mods that you sent me last time and I don't see several modifications you mentioned in this post.
Drop me a line.
Thanks.
