Re: 355" LT1 goes 9's!

Thanks guys, Lloyd the tune was way off b/c Tim thought I was putting 30# but I put 36's in so thats why it was so rich. I am swapping some 30#'s in this week. It will run 10's on motor too. Later Clint

Thumbs up Re: 355" LT1 goes 9's!

Nice numbers! Especially with that cam.
Did Tim help you with that tune?
That sounds like a route I may want to take with my ride for the future modifications.
Let me ask you this, did you try running with just that cam or did you go straight to the cam and heads?
I'm looking to go in stages.
a> all bolt-ons
b> bolt-ons with a cam (not sure which one yet - 306looking mighty nice)
c> then heads (don't know which ones however that will be later on)

Can't wait to see more updates,,,,
L8TR,
Eric

Congrats! Are you running the stock crank in there, or a forged setup?

Congrats on the new best times.

Although the time is impressive, what is really impressive is the amount his car gets driven on the street.

I would also like to see what kinda numbers it would put down.......

Hopefully the next time at the track and/or at the dyno I can get some good video of the car to post.

Re: 355" LT1 goes 9's!

The engine has a forged crank, h-beam rods and Lunati pistons and the rearend is a 8.8" Ford rear with a TA mount on it. Later

Nice work man, I have been following your progress and will be using your setup as a basic guide to some of the things I want to do to mine with a few twists. I hope that mine will run the numbers like yours one day. Keep haulin ***...
