355 with cc306 question

Just picked up this car a few weeks ago and love it, except the car has a slight surge. The car seems a little rich, when at wot the car will have 3 hesatation spots, split second spots where the car will pull slightly less, almost identical to nitrous surge. I was wondering if this would be tune related. Surges start up around 5k, and only happens at wot. I think the car possibly still has its nitrous tune and tr-6 plugs. Just picked up the car and want it running perfect. Car has an inline vortech pump and aeromotive regulator. Car doesnt miss at all just falls off for just a split second.

let me know what you guys think.
thanks,
Ross

If it running too rich at WOT I would stand to believe the cam is choking the engine, meaning it's too small. But a CC306 should do alright on a 355. The first thing I would check is the fuel pressure @ WOT, it could be cranked up since nitrous was on the car before. Couldn't hurt to change the plugs to something hotter since you are off the bottle now.

i really doubt its an issue with the cam
id say your right on with thinking its the tune
and possibly plugs those woulb be what i would check
get some nice plugs and a decent tune you should be alright

I know on my car it kinda likes to do that a bit, but having really looked into a bunch. I think the problem is just need a bit hotter plugs for it.
