330 RWHP Goal - What's needed?

OK, I realize that's a very low goal for a LT1, but I'm building my car to a road racing class with a spec of 9.5:1 lb/RWHP. My car will weigh about 3200 lbs, so that means about 330 RWHP.

I'm thinking I can do this with just some Dynatech long tubes, 1.6 rockers and a 52mm throttle body with my existing cold air intake and one 3" pipe with a good muffler.

Any opinions out there? If I don't have to go into my engine I don't plan to.

Honestly boltons won't get you there, you'll need a small cam like a hotcam.

Hotcam kit and headers plus bolt ons usually give 320 rwhp...

All the bolt-ons and a small cam will put you there.

Thanks for the advice. I'll start out just doing what I described above, and see where I am. I don't want to overshoot my goal since adding weight to get back to 9.5:1 would hurt me everywhere on a road course.

Maybe I'll take my heads off and clean up the ports and chamber to get a little closer to 330 RWHP. I don't want to put a cam into the engine until I'm ready to go through the engine and rebuild it, and that won't be this year.

Easiest way to do it is trade for an LS1 and slap a lid and cutout on it.

Yes, I know, but I'm just about finished with all my chassis work and cage, etc. I'll keep my car. It's not really at a disadvantage in this class.

That kind of HP range can and should be easily obtainably with stock heads cam and a good tune. I'm hoping to be at that range with just a cam swap and all the bolt on's.

I'd say, CAI, CatBack, Hotcam, Headers.

I know one person that had stock heads with a cc305 cam and 30# SVO's that put down 349 with dyno tuning and he trapped about 109, and I'm trapping about 107 with the hotcam and pcmforless tuning (going to get dyno tuning soon) so I'm guessing I'm around 330 now

So yes, it is possible with stock heads and hotcam \

P.S. I can tell I'm running horribly rich as well...
