315 on 9" rim

I have SLP FireHawk wheels on my car. They say they are 9" in width. I know a 315 can fit on a 9.5" rim but im wondering if ne has trieda 315 on a 9" wheel like the FireHawk?

Thx

Actually, the minimum rim width recommended by any tire manufacturer for a 315/35-17 is 10.0", with most of them recommending 10.5" or 11.0" width.

you might be able to get it to fit, but it probably won't wear evenly or outperform a 275 or 285. I didn't even opt for them on my 9.5s

You can put it on the rim, but there is absolutely no point, you will not get better traction. The tires are made for rims that are wider.
