30lb injectors on stock heads

i have a 355 running an le1 cam on stock heads. i was gonna get my heads ported but im thinking bout getting nitrous instead for now. i got some lt's to run td's with and im wondering if these 30lb injectors will be benificial or if i should leave them off. m heads got a valve job with the rebuild but nothing crazy

im planning on a 150 shot

thanks for the help

Fuel injectors do not add power - they support it. Anytime you change injectors you need to retune the PCM, as noted above.

yeah i know, itll definitely get tuning. i know they wont get me any power i was just wondering if they were needed for the power made with those mods ( basically full bolton le1 cam)

edit: i just read i asked if they would get me any gain, im retarded, im basically meaning like are my stock injectors hindering anything at this point or holding anything back that the bigger ones would allow for

Re: 30lb injectors on stock heads

If you are over 400HP at the flywheel, you will see benefits going from the stock 24's to the 30's. The 24's can't supply enough fuel RELIABLY.

The fact you are planning a 150-shot is not relevant.... if it's a wet system, the nitrous system supplies the extra fuel. If it's a dry system, the extra fuel is supplied by raising the fuel pressure when you spray. Neither has an affect on the injector size.
