3000 or 3500 Stall converter for my setup

Hey I have a 3000 midwest stall converter and I am thinking about steping it up to a 3500 for my need mods I am putting on.
Here is what I already have 3:73's, LT's, 3000 stall, PCMforless, Spohn rear suspension(TA,LCA,Reloc Brackets, airbag), a little weight reduction, few induction mods with Ls1 induction, Shift kit, Welds pro stars all around, and a few other odd end stuff.
Here is what I am adding 224/230 .536 .544 cam with 1.6 RR's, electric water pump, SSRA induction (since I have LS1 induction) Reprogammed computer by PCmforless, BMR K-member, True duels with a X-pipe & 2 dynomax bullet mufflers (2.5 inch pipe). Should I put the 3500 stall in; it will be free since I get a free restall.
My mechanic wants to pull the motor to do the cam install so we would have to pull the tranny anyways. BTW I already have a Tranny cooler.

The 3500 will have more shift extension, and help to keep you in your powerband down the track. The 3000 will drive a bit better around town. It's really up to you as far as which matters most. The 3500 with a nice amount of STR will still feel fine on the street.

Re: 3000 or 3500 Stall converter for my setup

Well my brother has a 3600 Vig in his Ls1 car and I like how his car runs. But my 3000 stall seems to be more instant and feels like it has more Torque. I know an LT1 in stock form usually creates all of its torque around 3000 grand with stock heads and cam, I figured the power band would move up to say around 3500 for my max torque after the additional mods, Does that make since.
