480 flywheel HP, a 0.48 BSFC and an 85% duty cycle says you need an injector that will supply 33.9#/HR. The only way a 30 will work is if you have a very efficient tune (0.45 #/HR/HP BSFC) and you drive the injectors at 95% DC, which is not recommended.

With that low compression are you planning on boosting it? From Fred's calculations looks like a 36# is the way to go now but if looking to boost later(again based on compression) then you might as well just go larger now rather than buy two sets.

i would go with some ford 42lb'ers if you are going to boost down the road. My buddy has a supercharged transam and he is doing well with his 42lb'ers.

If you buy 42lbs. you should be able to use then till and after the boost. If you go with 36lbs. you will have to buy another set when you do the boost.

I'm running the SVO 30 #ers and with GM fuel pressure they are closer to 32 #s. At about 6700 rpm my injector dutycycle gets in the 90s according to Datamaster TTS. When I redo the motor I will add 36 #ers.
