Yeah I posted about it in advanced tech when I saw it in a magazine "Super Rod", and its most likely the old school 70's LT-1 since I didnt see anything about reverse cooling in the article once someone pointed it out.

yah, it says on the bottom of the PDF document:

"Created for use on conventional small block Chevy engins, Vortec-Headed small blocks, and pre-'86 Chevy LT1 engins."

I don't see why they couldn't be converted to reverse flow and used on an LT1 engine. It's been done before with other standard Chevy heads.

Re: 3 valve heads for the LT1

A small atricle on the new issue of Hot Rod magazine has a picture of Barry Grant holding the 3-valve head at the SEMA show. The caption inidcates that as of that point, it was only a plastic model. They have not at this point actually cast a head or put it on an engine. They expect to have one to test "in the spring".

If you are fascinated by multi-valve heads, go to the "Parts For Sale" board and buy Unstable Bob's 4-valve Dominion/Arao LT1 heads.
