3" Fernco Coupling???

What is it and where can I get one?

Have 97SS Scam Air and would like to find something to better connect the box to the MAF.

Seems the box doesn't quite want to seal very well to the maf with the stupid rubber connector.

Thanks much.

Fernco boots can be found at most plumbing supply shops. I believe it's a 5" to 3" adapter.

Thanks. I've been using a 4" rubber connector, but maybe the 3" X 5" would fit better over the box end. I know the 4" fits the MAF ok, but a real bitch to get it far enough on the box end. I have to use duct tape now just to keep it sealed.

Whadya think?

By the way, is the maf 3" OR 4" ?

Thanks.

Actually I saw where Sar2K has it on his TA, so maybe it wouldn't fit my SS.

Oh well, I just thought maybe since he runs 11s that I would take advantage of the mod.

I had the same prob with the SLP CAI to my MAF, the rubber doohickey was not happening. So..off to Lowe's where the 3" fernco sewer connector proudly seals my induction system. Turn it inside out and it even looks like it belongs there. LOL
