3 dyno runs to help tune car

There is only one Dyno i know of within 300+ miles of me. They charge $75 for 3 runs. They don't know much if anything (wanted me to get an adjustable fpr) about the Lt1 so i am not interested in them tuning the car. I plan on sending the info to the tuner who did my origional tune so he can adjust accordingly. I get free retune for 6 months so there is no additional recharge on my tune. My question is what should i have them do differently on each pull to get the most info? Can they run the car differently so more data is available to use?

why dont you go to a tuner that can tune your pcm while it is on the dyno, do these guys not have the equipment to tune a lt1 pcm??

the only thing you can use to store data would be a scanmaster or a datamaster. Do you have a laptop computer? Just buy a cable a log the runs, theres some free, basic software around here somewhere.
Even if you dont have any of that 3 pulls will give your tuner something to work with. So when you have him re tune the car he ll have some idea of whats going on with it.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Log your current setup on the street putting it through all the paces, idle, part throttle and WOT, the tuner can use that ALOT more than a simple WOT run on a dyno..... the ONLY advantage of bein on the dyno is that you can rtack your AFR with there sensor, but even then its useless to the tuner since its not loged with the datamaster scan.

in your case I would get a LC1 and wire it into your PCM with the 0-5v output, THEN road log your setup and send that out to the tuner. trust me its the best solution to your problem!

Pretty common to get a mail order tune, then send the dyno graph (with afr) back to your tuner for them to adjust.

Not much you can do, just make the 3 pulls so you have some decent info. So your tuner can kinda take the average of the 3. Make sure they do full pulls though. Pull it from @ 2k all the way up to redline. For some damn reason they like to run cars to just get a peak hp number. Seen too many dyno runds from 4k to 5.8k.. .doesn't help much if yhou don't have the whole band.

PCM4less does some pretty good work for mail order. I'm going to guess your tune right now is pretty close.

Have people been able to get this to work? I remember a while back people were talking about it. Do you have a link to more information? Thanks.
