I have a 95 z28 with 3.73 gears in the rear, and with my hotcam, my car doesn't bog with a good launch. I have been thinking about going with a 306 and heads, and I heard that 3.73's on a 6-speed might not be enough gear for them. I have some 26" slicks that will stick, but I don't want to bog off of the line if I do hook. Please let me know what you think.

 

Revv to 5,500 rpm when you launch with slicks and I doubt you will bog any with the 306. But what do i know?

 

I'm pretty sure that there are a couple guys on here running that gear/cam combo.
