3.73 Install

I am going to bring my car to the shop next week to put them in.Is there anything else i should do like bearings seals ect.Or should i save my money since i dont have any leaks or bearing whine.What do you guys think. Thanks...

make sure you have at least a complete install kit with new bearings (or a deluxe install kit that has wheel bearings as well) for the pinion gear, etc....you need it. richmonds install kit is very nice and a lot better then the ratech one i got the first time around. while its out you might as well order a take off limited slip diff from slp for 100 bucks and have them install that as well. that way you'll have a fully refreshed rear. one more thing, the whine in rears doesn't come from bearings it usually comes from incorrect backlash. the camps are divided on this though, some say properly installed gears shouldn't whine regaurdless of brand while others say certain brands whine no matter what. just be prepared to have a rear that makes a bit more noise then before.
