Re: 3.73 to 3.23 ?

Well, when i ran my 12:90 , my 60" was 1.68 with a reaction time of .507 ....with nitto drag radials ofcourse. I know for sure my 60" will go down with these gears unless i get some mad traction and no wheel hop.

By the way, how many miles do you drive per week that you're trading performance for gas mileage?

I'm thinking about going with 4.30s.. I say you only live once, and gas will be gone soon, so we should enjoy it while its cheap (at $2.50/gal)

LoL I agree however comma, My Camaro is my daily driver and i dont know how often you are in Orlando but traffic and gas prices suck. Im military so i also do a lot of traveling and such. .3 loss at the track is only noticable at the track, not while spanking rice/ rustang slowbras on the highway LoL.

Finally some one thought that was funny. hehe i need to change it to sound"ed" since my exhaust is on the shop floor and my engine is in pieces, threw a rod, that broke a piston, that trashed the heads...

oh man , that sucks. F-bodies dont ever just need an alternator or a water pump. When something goes wrong, it freakin disables the car for days. "When it rains, it pours"

Have you done the math on the savings?

What are you going to save, $200/yr? I doubt that much.

The gas savings are really quite negligible.
