3/4 cam??
Such foolishness used to 'kill' me when people used terms like 'full or 3/4 race'. Some supposedly knowledgeable people would use those terms. It meant little to me and really did not designate anything because there are different ways to measure duration, and duration by any means of measure did not correlate consistantly to any of the above outdated terms. Such were the reason for sarcastic responses by myself many years ago.
Recap:
1- not able to correlate duration to above terms with consistency
2- there are different ways to measure duration
3- because of above 2 reasons it is vutile to attempt to corrrelate the two. IOW, a waste of time. It doesn't come out to anything meaningful nowadays nor did it years ago.

"3/4 cam"..... I swear I haven't heard that since the early 1960's... and I'm not kidding you. That was just about like saying "I have Stage 2 heads"... meant absolutely nothing in terms of true technical content...... it was just one step less than "full race"... whatever that was.
Point is, there is no rigid definition of "3/4 race", at least not that I am aware of. And if there was, it would probably be based on what they were running in the Ford flat-heads at Bonneville in the 1950's.... Not trying to be a wise guy, really.
