I have a friend with that exhaust on his car. It sounds really good, much better than Flowmaster in my opinion. As far as power increases go, you're not going to see much difference in gains between different companies.

IMO, Flowmaster is the best bang for the buck. I know a lot of guys keeping ******* Flowmaster but there's a reason they've been around this long. I like SLP products myself even though they tend to be a little pricey. Not one catback has a major gain in horsepower over the next. I'd say you'll see a gain of 12-15 horse for the majority of catbacks on the market. Just my 2 cents.

Thumbs up

There is a reason everyone here calls it "Slowmaster". I have the 2OTL, sounds AWESOME!! Your gunna love it, I wouldn't trade it for anything! Sounds better then a slowmaster!

I originally had the Flowmaster American Thunder 2 chamber cat-back kit on my car. Last year, I took it off and installed the Hooker cat-back. In my opinion, the Hooker sounds much better, and I noticed a slight increase in power, but it was probably just in my head. I know a few other guys who switched from Flowmaster and noticed the same.

Its a beautiful sounding catback, its alot cleaner sound (opinion) then a flowmaster but I could see a bit of a similarity

If i could do my exhaust again I would have kept the TOTL instead of getting the Loudmouth and just got a cutout when I wanted to get loud. Not that my Loudmouth is bad I just could have saved a few dollars.

Cut outs are a great way to go...I put stock LS1 exhaust on with a cut out... With a 363ci LT4 with a CC306, Jet hot coated hooker LT's and zero emissions controls, it gets kinda loud opened up...
