28" tire with 3.73s?

Would a 28x12.5x15 ET street with 3.73s work well in a 4th gen with 478hp and 490 lb ft?

I use 28- 10.5/ 15 et drag It runs consistant 7.40 in the 1/8 mi on motor. My '60 times are right around 1.59 I had a 26" tire but the car was slower on the top end of the track. It looks as though I have a similar setup . 3.73 rear
