Hey,
I wishe I had soundclips of my car, but don't have dig. camera and barely know how to use the internet

There is a guy on the board that has this cam with similar mods. He has LTs where I have shorties. His car sounds Mean. My car isn't as loud with the shorties, but all my neighbors/friends say they can hear me coming.
I hope this link to his website works...

No its just something a friend of mine threw together. He's a autobody guy. But yeah we copied the ZL1 big block design.

The link above is a sound clip of the CC306 ideling with Hooker long tubes and 3.5 inch y-pipe threw a flowmaster. Along with the same car turning a 12.6 with stock converter and suspention. I really like the way it sounds. It has the same 112 LSA as the 230/236 you speak of but the 230/236 might not rumble as much do to the lower exaust duration. Hope this helps.

Jeremy

Yeah I really like that vid too. I took that on a 80 degree night in august of my buddys 94 B4C. Belive it or not that car had a stock torque converter then and still has stock suspention. Now its got a Vig 3200 and pulls low 1.7X 60 foots on drag radials. It has ran a best of 12.3@111. The converter didnt seen to help a whole lot but he needs suspention REALLY bad.

I have the XE230/236 cam also. I really like it and agree with others that it pulls really good from 3000 rpm's up.

My only complaint is that it sounds near stock. I kind of wanted that choppy sound.

I do have mail order tuning and it made the car drive just like stock until you get on it.

I might would go larger if I had it to do over again.

That was my buddies 94 B4C, Zdriver96. Here is his total combo=

K&N CAI, air foil,de-screened MAF, t-body by pass, CSI electric water pump, Aeromotive AFPR, comp 987 valve springs, CC306 cam, hooker long tubes, custom 3.5 inch no cat y-pipe, cut out, flowmaster muffler, aluminum drive shaft, 3.73's, auburn diff, BMR SFC's, Vig 3200, and custom PCM tuning on 275/45/17 BFG drag radials on Firehawk rims.

Everything that was not mentioned is stock. The car is also light cause its a very rare car due to the fact that it is a stripped B4C that never seen service. NO power options what so ever, not even rear window defogger.

how in the world can a 230/236 sound stock. even the 224/230 is a hard chopping cam and its smaller.

My 23/236 is ground on a 114LSA and I made the numbers in the sig with Lloyd's heads. I trap 114 and baby it out of the hole. If I could launch hard who knows what mph I could get.
