224/230 (cc503) guys in here!

Post any results you have in here.
HP, tq, gas milage, ETs, ect. Heres what i got:

319 RWHP/277 FT/LBS TQ.
8.8 MPG.
BEST ET: 12.0, AVERAGE AROUNDE 12.2.

This is mainly a gas milege post.. mine is horrible, and i'm curious to see if it is just me, or everyone is getting this low of gas milage.

thanks in advance

Hey there tagz I get close to 20mpg with my 224/230 cam. When did you get it dynoed. Nice times with those #'s. Now we see the difference between a camed lt1 with stock heads and one with head work. I made 365 rwhp@5300 with valve float. Once I get my springs in we will have to hook up and go to the track.

hey joe, dind't know you posted here.

i got it dynoed yestarday. i planned on getting it tuned as well, but they could not get the wideband o2s on my exhaust cuase its dumped before the axle. It was a mustang dyno btw. so i'm assuming i've be up a bit more on a dynojet?

20 mpg is sick!!! when i saw bryan yestarday (pcmforless) , he said the only way to figure out why i'm gettin such poor milege is to send him a log. he thinks something is SERIOUSLY wrong. o2, or something ignition wise. thanks for posting, let me know when you get those springs on, we'll make a trip to the track

I get 25 on the highway and about 10 in the city but Im sure thats because of the way I drive it. Your dyno numbers are gonna be low but running the times you are I wouldnt worry about what a dyno says.

Definitely something wrong there. I'm not sure what I'm getting for mileage, but it's certainly a lot better than 8.8mpg.

Dunno about mileage but I put down 330rwhp/337rwtq on stock heads. One plug wire was messed up so when I fix that and throw synthetic in it I'm hoping for 340rwhp on stock heads with the 224/230 through an auto.
