2 Questions, why is my keyless remote range so limited? and.....
Hey guys got a quick question and didn't know where to post it, so it went here. Feel free to move.....
My keyless entry remote is really limited. I almost have to be at the front of my car standing by the nose for it to work. I have two remotes and they are both the same with new batteries and cleaned contact terminals. Any ideas?!?!
Next, is there a way to make this remote work with my car. I just think its prettier!

That remote should work - you should just be able to reprogram it like you do the other ones. For directions on how to reprogram the remote just check the owners manual - very simple to do.
As far as the range, I don't know. I have the same problem, so I am just considering getting a new aftermarket kit or something possibly.

Yep, I'm thinking about aftermarket as well, something with remote start integrated. I know I have an M6, but I never leave it in gear so it ain't really a problem. My main issue is the sound it makes when you engage/disengage it. I really hate the chirp sound. I'm real big on the GM horn alert. I like hearing one beep for armed, two beeps for not armed and beep beep beep for "you messin with me". Just personal taste.
I didn't really think that it would work simply because it has that extra button for the panic feature. Thats the main reason that I was asking. I'm more/less looking for someone who's tried it. I'm sure someone has.
