Yes a lot of people seem to mistake that all 97's are 30th Anniversaries. Yes your right, but we are refferring to the Anniversary Edition package (Z4C). Only the white Z28's/SS's that come with white leather, white t-bar panel, white door handles, white mirrors, and white insert in front bumper, and ofcourse the orange stripes are true 30th Anniversary Editions. Am I right?

As for that car for $15,000, well you get what you pay for. If you wanna find a newer LS1 for that amount you can count on the miles being higher and not anywhere near the condition (most likely). I bought my 97 30th Z28 2 years ago for $15,500. It is immaculate condition and am very happy with it. Sure stock vs stock an LS1 is faster but everyone and there grandmas have a damn LS1 now. Nont everyone has a 30th Ann Z28. Keep that in mind.

Just to toss a nickel in the bucket...
I wouldn't get caught up too much on the mileage. $15k seems very high to me. I would look for a 30th package SS with a bit higher mileage (30-40K) to save some coin. With 3.23 gears on the one you are looking at, this tells me it is an automatic. Are you looking for an automatic or are you open to a 6 speed? I would think the 6 speeds are more desirable.
