2 cam related questions

In the middle of instaling a cam kit, i have 2 question:

Am i sopposed to disconect the air conditioning lines??
http://shbox.com/ci/ac_hose.jpg
that one right there? if was trying it yesterday and it started spraying this weird chemical in the air so i quickly closed it.

my other question is do you think it is necessary to change the stock lifters or will they work fine with a cam?

the cam i am getting is close to the cc305

No, you do not have to disconnect the Air Conditioning lines. It's also illegal to just spray that "weird chemical" into the air. They will need to be moved though...

And no, you do not NEED new lifters, but you might as well get new ones. Do it right once and be happy, instead of finish everything to have one collapse or something down the road.

That's refrigerant you are draining out of the system. If you are going to remove the condensor, the lines will have to come off.

New lifters would be good if your current ones have much mileage.

If you are using my guide, it should tell you what you need to know about moving stuff.

IMO, lifters with that many miles should be replaced.
