Guys, I have a 1994 Pontiac Firebird Formula A4 2.73 gear car. I would like to know how much of a difference there is in the 1/8 and 1/4 between the two gears stock for stock. Can you feel a big difference with the 3.23 gear and would it be a good mod to do or would you have 3.42 gears installed. There are only 1/8 mile tracks where I live so I will be racing there. I need a good gear for the street and strip without losing too much mileage.

if ur gonna get some gears, u might as well get some 3.73's, now those will make a big difference. 3.23's wouldnt be worth it because ull probly wanna change gears later in the future again, so might as well get it done right if ur gonna spend the cash.
