1997 Z28 Car running rich 1000-1900RPM's
Hi Guys !I have a 1997Z28 Camaro with 79,078 Miles on the Clock!
Problem: It runs rich between 1000-1900Rpm's. It will put out Black Smoke out the tailpipe and spudder or pop in the exhaust.
No backfire through the intake.
Maintenance I have performed:
New Plugs and Wires, New OptiSpark, New EGR Valve. Cleaned the Throttle body and installed new gaskets in throttle body.
Fuel Pressure is 46 PSI with engine off. Idling 40 PSI at Wot Throttle 45PSI.
Car will run fine driving. No surging or bucking or poping.
Car has plenty of power at Full Throttle!
What is your guys Advice?????????

You just joined the mystery skip club. theres about 30 of us on here, just do a search, on miss from idle to 2500. Theres a lot on here.
I got the same problem, except my car has no power at wide open throttle.
